Alpha Chi Omega's history is rooted in generosity, compassion, and commitment to our sisters and the greater good. In support of our National Philanthropy, Alpha Chi Omega members are dedicated to raising awareness and educating others about domestic violence.
Our National Philanthropy: Domestic Violence Awareness: The 1992 Alpha Chi Omega National Convention marked a pivotal moment in our history with the adoption of Domestic Violence Awareness as our national philanthropy. .As a chapter, we are dedicated to combating unhealthy relationships and promoting healthy, respectful partnerships. Our mission is to support those impacted by domestic violence and to empower our own members to build strong, positive relationships. How We Make a Difference: Fundraising and Volunteering: We raise funds and donate our time and talents to local shelters and organizations that serve individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our chapter’s efforts help provide resources, safety, and support for those in need. Empowering Members: Alpha Chi Omega equips its members with the knowledge and tools to build healthy, fulfilling relationships in their own lives. Through education and awareness, we aim to create a community of women who uplift and support one another. Raising Awareness: We are committed to educating others about the devastating impact of domestic violence and sharing the important work being done to end it. Whether through advocacy, volunteerism, or fundraising, we stand united in the fight against domestic violence.
