Domestic Violence Awareness Month
DVAM is recognized nationally during the month of October.
This October, we ask our sisters to commit to doing #1Thing to educate those around them and support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Inspired by the Domestic Violence Awareness Project’s #1Thing campaign, we are working to turn awareness into action. Sharing these commitments can inspire others, turning #1Thing into powerful collective action. To honor those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, check in with your local shelters and service providers to find out how you can best support their efforts.
Show your support of #AXODVAM by using our social media assets on https://www.alphachiomega.org/.../domestic-violence.../ and adding the caption, “Learn more about domestic violence, how to support survivors and educational opportunities by visiting www.alphachiomega.org/dva.”
