Renew Your KOK Membership or Join Today!

We're mixing some well-loved classics, like our holiday party and our Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday event, with exciting new events (ax throwing, anyone?). KOK members enjoy a supportive community of sisters and valuable networking opportunities. Your membership dues help KOK support two local collegiate chapters--Iota Nu (UCSD), Kappa Lambda (USD) and Iota Tau (CSUSM). A portion of your dues also goes to the national organization to keep Alpha Chi Omega strong across the country.

Ready to join? You can pay online OR fill out the registration form, or bring a check to the next event.

Collegiate Chapter Updates

Picture
Iota Nu (UC San Diego)
Iota Nu is utilizing this time of change to grow our bond between members and strengthen chapter moral by holding engaging activities via zoom. Their chapter celebrated Healthy Relationships Week through a cupcake drive that raised over $1000 for Domestic Violence Awareness and they also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Rady Children's Hospital where they cooked dinner for the families staying long term at the hospital.

KOK asked the chapter to create an Amazon Wish List, so alumnae had another way support the chapter.  The Iota Nu leadership will be updating the list on a regular basis.  You can review and donate by CLICKING HERE.

Joanna Rice, the chapter advisor is still building her advisory board.  She is looking to fill the following advisory positions below.  If you are interested, you can contact her by CLICKING HERE.
  • Risk Management Advisor (greatest need)
  • Recruitment Information Advisor
  • Facility Operations Advisor
  • New Membership Development Advisor
  • Panhellenic Advisor

Kappa Lambda (University of San Diego)
All of their events have been canceled or postponed to next semester. As of now, their plan is to hold 2 philanthropy events next semester instead of one, and initiation will be in the fall as well. For chapter meetings, they are holding virtual meetings on Zoom.  They are very informal and not required for anyone.  It is a chance for the chapter to stay connected.

RECRUITMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 2020-21
The recruitment recommendation form for 2020-21 is available now! While there is uncertainty about how the COVID-19 pandemic will impact the upcoming academic year, we are still accepting recommendations for potential new members.

The online recommendation form is mobile-friendly and provides you with a record of your submitted recommendations. Utilizing this online recommendation form helps our chapters efficiently and effectively manage the recruitment process. On average about 15,000 online recommendations are submitted every year. We are truly grateful to all alumnae who take the time to complete recommendations.

If you are an alumnae chapter officer who coordinates the recommendation process for potential new members who live nearby, consider registering for our upcoming webinar discussing Alumnae Chapter Recommendations on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

DAY OF CARING
On April 1-2, 2020, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation reimagined its Day of Giving into a Day of Caring. Instead of a fundraising campaign, this was a caring campaign to share our love for Alpha Chi Omega, creating opportunities for sisters to connect virtually.
Alpha Chi Omega makes a promise to empower each member to become the best version of herself. Regardless of where and when you first benefitted from the Real. Strong. Women.® Experience, it continues providing an ever-growing network that supports you throughout life.

Together we:
  • Checked in on countless sisters
  • Thanked the helpers in our lives
  • Supported the Alpha Chi Assistance Fund
  • Connected with our mentors and sisters virtually

Didn’t have the opportunity to participate in Day of Caring? There is still time to participate – reach out to a sister, thank a helper in your community, and/or connect with a mentor in your life, then share how you’re participating with the hashtag, #AXOcares!

Sister Snaps

This is your space to celebrate notable career achievements, marriages, anniversaries, and births. Please submit news and photos to Caitlin by CLICKING HERE and filling out our update form. If you don't, she'll continue to be one of the only members featured. And that will get boring quickly.
