CELEBRATING MCDOWELL MONTH
LUNCH BUNCH
​It is with heartfelt sympathy that we share the following news with you.  We received word from Gerrie McDonald's daughter that her mother passed away on December 17th, 2023.

Cindy wrote " My mom loved her sorority and her sisters throughout her life"   Gerrie was a Real, Strong, Woman, who gave countless hours volunteering for Alpha Chi Omega.  She was a dedicated and loyal member, serving as KOK's president.   

Carol Lewis, wrote "I have lots of good memories with Gerrie"  I feel certain one would be a trip to New Orleans, our chapter reaped the benefits from their cooking class and the start of KOK's Mardi Gras events with Cajun Shrimp Creole as the featured dinner. 

Gerrie was initiated in the class of 1949 at the Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at San Jose State University. She leaves a strong AXO legacy with both her daughter and granddaughter members of our sisterhood.

62nd NATIONAL CONVENTION
July 12-14

Every two years, Alpha Chi Omega gathers in person to spend time with sisters, conduct the business of the Fraternity and celebrate our amazing accomplishments.

Save the date for Alpha Chi Omega’s 62nd National Convention, July 12-14, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Convention will be held at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, located in central downtown, close to White River State Park.

​Kappa Omicron Kappa supports Carol’s House in San Diego by providing “Welcome Bags” each year. We have an Amazon Wish List of the supplies we are in need of to assemble these bags. Items range from $2.99 to $19.46. We hope you can participate in this call for the shelter’s essential items.
