For 2019-2020, we're mixing some well-loved classics, like our holiday party and our Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday event, with exciting new events (ax throwing, anyone?). KOK members enjoy a supportive community of sisters and valuable networking opportunities. Your membership dues help KOK support two local collegiate chapters--Iota Nu (UCSD) and Kappa Lambda (USD). A portion of your dues also goes to the national organization to keep Alpha Chi Omega strong across the country.

Collegiate Chapter Updates

Iota Nu (UC San Diego)
KOK asked the chapter to create an Amazon Wish List, so alumnae had another way support the chapter.  The Iota Nu leadership will be updating the list on a regular basis.  You can review and donate by CLICKING HERE.

Philanthropy Corner

Last year, we had great success donating items to Carol's House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. We delivered 30 fully-stocked bags in October and another 30 in April. Help us put together more bags this year by collecting and donating the following items:
  • Combs and brushes
  • Shampoo and conditioner (full size and travel size)
  • Soap
  • Deodorant*
  • Razors
  • ​Body lotion*
  • Feminine hygiene products (pads, not tampons)
  • Sunscreen
  • Makeup, especially mascara & lipstick*

Meet Danielle Jackola, KOK Treasurer

Danielle Jackola is an initiate of Iota Nu (UCSD) and is a copy editor.  She grew up in Hayward, California and currently resides in San Marcos.  Danielle's favorite AXO memory is being a Rho Chi (recruitment counselor) and finally being able to tell them I was an Alpha Chi and welcoming new members to our chapter. Her hobbies include hiking, cooking, gardening.  Danielle's family consists of husband, Lance (20 years this August), son, Blake (age 18), and daughter, Lauren (age 15).

March 2-6: National Ritual Celebration Week
Alpha Chi Omega is very pleased to announce that we will be participating in the annual National Ritual Celebration Week, March 2-6, 2020. Collegians and alumnae are encouraged to take time each day that week to reflect on the meaning of our Ritual and how living our Ritual improves your life and your chapter.

Sister Snaps

This is your space to celebrate notable career achievements, marriages, anniversaries, and births. Please submit news and photos to Caitlin Nasseraddin. If you don't, she'll continue to be one of the only members featured. And that will get boring quickly.
